Warmer weather brings thin ice and possible flooding

It’s been a beautiful few days in Waterloo Region, but with those warmer conditions, the ice starts to melt.
The Grand River Conservation Authority warning of unsafe Ice Fishing conditions as well – this especially at Shade’s Mills and Belwood Lake parks.
And with rain in the forecast, Regional Police are also warning about flooding and asking us to keep an extra eye on small children and pets around waterways.
John Wilson is calling for rain late Tuesday and throughout Wednesday.
