Ghomeshi and Millard trials begin tomorrow

Two high-profile trials get underway tomorrow.

The judge only trial of former broadcaster Jian Ghomeshi gets underway in Toronto on Monday.

It has been more than a year since allegations against the former CBC radio host first surfaced. He has pleaded not guilty to four counts of sexual assault and one count of overcoming resistance by choking.

In hamilton the jury has been selected for the trial of the two men accused of murdering Tim Bosma.

Bosma left his home May 6, 2013 with two men to give them a test drive of a pick up truck he was selling.

His body was found “burned beyond recognition” more than a week later. Dellen Millard, of Toronto, and Mark Smich, from Oakville, are both charged with first-degree murder in bosma’s death.

Their lawyers say their clients will plead not guilty.
