Police searching for suspect after robbery in Wellesley

Regional police are asking for our help identifying a man after a robbery in Wellesley.

It happened Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at Forwell Variety on Lobsinger Line in Heidelberg.

Police say a man waited for customers to leave the store and went to pay for a bottle of water, when the cashier opened the till he demanded all of the bills.

He left in a blue 4 door compact vehicle.

The man’s described as a white, around 35-40 years old, 5’8″, with an average build and light blond or red hair.

He was wearing a black Blue Jays baseball cap, a black winter jacket with the words “Snap ON” on the left breast, under the jacket he had a construction blaze yellow hoodie.

He was also wearing blue jeans and running shoes with red laces.

No one was injured during the incident.
