HELSINKI – Right-winger Julien Gauthier is doubtful for Monday’s game between Canada and Denmark at the world junior hockey championship.
Gauthier, who assisted on Matt Barzal’s goal in Canada’s 4-2 loss to the United States on Saturday, has been struggling with a stomach virus.
Canada opted for off-ice workouts Monday instead of a morning skate.
Gauthier missed Sunday’s practice with the ailment.
