Cops are set to chase the Hounds in 2nd annual charity hockey game

Cops are set to chase the Hounds in the 2nd annual charity hockey game at Galt Arena Gardens in Cambridge.

This Saturday at 4:45 p.m. Waterloo Regional Police will take on the Cambridge Ice Hounds in a game that aims to raise the awareness of the Ice Hounds special needs hockey program.

Fans are also encouraged to arrive early and take in the Junior Ice Hounds skills competition, beginning at 3:30 p.m.

The event is free for everyone, but cash donations can be made at the door.

The Ice Hounds will also be collecting new pajamas in support of the Sleep Tight Waterloo Region campaign before the game.

The WRPS are returning this year with an all-star roster of players, determined to make up for the crushing loss to the Hounds last season.
