Cambridge Fire Prevention continues to investigate after a house fire on Park Ave Monday morning.
Crews arrived to the home around 1 am to find flames coming out of the front door and second floor bedroom.
Fortunately, all four members of the family inside – including a toddler and a baby – got out safely.
An early damage estimate has been put at $50,000. No cause has been released at this time.
In light of this, fire officials are stressing the importance of having working smoke alarms on all levels of the home – especially outside of the bedroom.
