PM Harper in Waterloo Monday morning

We are now exactly one week away from election day and the main party leaders have no plans to take off this holiday Monday.

Conservative Leader Stephen Harper starts his day in Waterloo, where he’ll visit Martin’s Family Fruit Farm on Lobsinger Line.

He’ll be there at 10 this morning.

Elsewhere on the campaign trail, Liberal leader Justin Trudeau spends his day in Ontario, first in the Ottawa-area with stops later in Napanee and Port Hope.

N-D-P leader Tom Mulcair will be on the hustings in western Canada visiting the Vancouver area and then Saskatoon.
There’s a lot at stake over these final 7 days and it appears Canadians are paying attention.

At least, if you consider traffic at advance polls, which are open again today.

According to Elections Canada, turnout at the first two days of advance polls this weekend was up 36 per cent from the advance polls in the 2011 election.
