Police looking to identify man in relation to fatal arrow attack in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police are looking to identify a man, who may have information to assist them in the homicide investigation of Michael Gibbon.

It is believed he was in the area of Margaret Avenue Monday October 5th, the morning Gibbon was fatally shot by an arrow.

He is described as having an olive complexion, 6′ tall, 40-50 years old, muscular build, dark eyes, bushy dark eyebrows, larger nose, and longer dark hair past his ears.

He was wearing khaki pants, a dark shirt, hiker style shoes and carrying a dark colored back-pack.

Police remind us the motivation for this attack is unknown and they are not ruling out any possibility. Therefore, the risk to public safety is not known.

They remind us to remain vigilant, be aware of our surroundings, and report any suspicious activity to police.
