Back-to-back road wins for the Kitchener Rangers

The Kitchener Rangers are feeling good this morning after a solid road swing.

They beat the Sudbury Wolves 4-2 for their second win in as many nights.

Rangers coach Mike Van Ryn says the second and third periods were sloppy, but he’s never going to slap two points in the face.

“Maybe our guys are becoming a little bit more resilient here, and you know what it wasn’t from a lack of effort, I could see their faces when they were coming off of the ice and how tired they were.”

Dawson Carty had a stellar performance in net for the Rangers, stopping 32 of 34 shots.

The Rangers are back in action on Friday, October 9th when they return to The Aud to host the Windsor Spitfires at 7:30 pm. Fans are asked to bring a monetary donation or non-perishable food item to support The Food Bank of Waterloo Region in their annual food drive.
