Guelph’s Linamar donates $1M to WLU’s Lazaridis School of Business & Economics

Guelph’s Linamar has made a $1 million dollar donation to Wilfrid Laurier University’s Lazaridis School of Business & Economics.
The donation from the manufacturing company will go to support the accounting program and establish the Linamar Centre for Accounting Education.
CEO of Linamar, Linda Hasenfratz, made the announcement at the university this morning and says the company “looks forward to our partnership with Laurier as a source of more of these talented leaders to help us to continue to build our business.”
The donation will also fund a fellowship and scholarships to support and encourage accounting faculty and students.
