OPP confirm two bodies found at crash site of missing helicopter operated by a Kitchener man

Police confirm two bodies have been found along with a missing helicopter that was being operated by a Kitchener man.

41-year-old Ken Mielke of Kitchener and 24-year-old Jeremie Belanger of Kapuskasing went missing in the R44 on Tuesday.

Apex Helicopters found the missing helicopter in a heavily wooded area south west of where the helicopter was last seen. 

OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), Foleyet Detachment, and the South Porcupine Detachment attended the scene.

Two bodies are confirmed to be at the crash site. 

Police say the identities will not be confirmed until after post mortem.

Transportation Safety Board (TSB) Canada and the Regional Coroner is also attending the crash scene to investigate.
