Province investing in UW web-based tool to help lift families out of poverty

Ontario is investing $300,000 in a web-based tool, created by the University of Waterloo, to help community organizations lift people and families out of poverty.
The software platform that will allow organizations to collect, analyze and share data on poverty and poverty reduction initiatives in Perth and Huron counties.
The Local Poverty Reduction Fund is a $50-million, six-year initiative that will help identify the areas of greatest need and identify the local initiatives that best help the community.
