July was a strong month for home sales in KW

The Kitchener-Waterloo Association of Realtors released new numbers for the past month today.
570 homes were sold last month, the highest sales number the area has seen in a July since 2008.
Most properties sold were single detached homes, followed up by condos.
Association President Mark Wolle says “Buyers continue to express their confidence that homes in the Region are a solid investment.” and adds that is has been a strong summer for sales so far.
Year-to-date total sales were just over 3500 which is a 7.1% increase compared to the same time last year.
