Generals edged the Rockets in overtime to win the Memorial Cup

The Oshawa Generals are the top team in junior hockey.

Anthony Cirelli scored the winner early in O-T as the Generals edged the Kelowna Rockets 2-1 to win the Mastercard Memorial Cup.

He also scored the other Oshawa goal in regulation.

They’re the first O-H-L team to win the Memorial Cup since the 2010 Windsor Spitfires.
