McMaster University is opening a medical education centre in partnership with Grand River Hospital.
The centre had its grand opening this morning after a $300,000 investment by the Waterloo McMaster Campus.
The centre features sleep and study rooms for residents on long shifts at the hospital, as well as meeting and lounge space.
Rooms will be open to undergraduate medical learners as well as residents completing specialized residencies in internal medicine, psychiatry and pediatrics.
