High schools in Sudbury, Ont. will be on strike tomorrow, as negotiations between teachers and the Rainbow District School Board have failed to reach an agreement.
Rainbow District is the second district affected by strike action last Monday high school teachers in Durham Region hit the picket lines.
The Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation released a statement saying the board’s “refusal to engage in real negotiations” has left teachers with “no option.”
A statement from Rainbow District School Board Chair Doreen Dewar says she is “extremely disappointed” with the decision to strike.
