Guelph police ask for help to locate missing man

Guelph police are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing man.

36-year-old Jason Kuiper was last seen walking in the area of Gordon Street near Harts Lane in Guelph.

It’s not known what clothing he had on at the tie, but police say he was carrying two backpacks.

Kuiper has no access to motor vehicles, and police say he is known to walk great distances and has previously walked from Guelph to Kitchener-Waterloo.

Family and friends are concerned for his well-being as he has not been reported missing before.

Kuiper is described as a white male approximately 6’2”, 190 lbs, with a medium build, and black receding hair, a full black beard, hazel eyes, and he also wears glasses.
