A first for Guelph native Erin Mielzynski.
She won her first national title at Mont Ste. Anne in Quebec on Saturday.
The 24-year-old claimed the Sports Experts Canadian National Championship Slalom title with a combined time of 1:43.80.
Mielzynski says it was exciting as she’s always wanted to win a national title.
She also had three top ten finishes during this year’s World Cup circuit.
