City of Guelph passes 2015 budget with 3.55% increase for homeowners

The City of Guelph passed their 2015 budget.
City Council approved a $207 million operating budget and a $52 million capital budget for 2015.
The average homeowner will have a 3.55% tax increase, which works out to $114 per household.
The 2015 Budget focuses on improving and building on work already underway such as the expansion of two-way GO service, the Woodlawn Road multi-use corridor and continued work on the transit technology plan.
