Work continues on rapid bus system in Cambridge

As Kitchener residents get ready for months and months of LRT construction that kicks off today, Cambridge residents can also expect to see some delays as BRT work continues.
The region wants to have the rapid bus system up and running by this fall.
Last year, lane closures along Hespeler were in place, but work was halted.
The pylons have since been put back in place and work is being done on new bus shelters.
The region’s Director of Rapid Transit says they hope to have most of the work done by the end of the summer.
There will be rolling closures to accommodate this work.
