Rangers cough up two goal lead in loss to Storm

There was a home advantage in the Highway 7 Series between the Rangers and Storm this season.
The Storm won the final meeting of the regular season 3-2 in Guelph on Tuesday night. Kitchener went 0 and 4 in Guelph, but the Rangers were 4 and 0 versus the Storm at The Aud.
Tuesday’s loss also means the Rangers will open the playoffs on the road as they cannot finish higher than 5th in the Western Conference.
Guelph native Connor Bunnaman and David Miller scored the goals for Kitchener. Miller now has 11 points in Kitchener’s last six games.
Jake Paterson took the loss in goal, but was named the game’s second star, stopping 34 of the 37 shots he faced.

Kitchener remains 6th in the Western Conference with just three regular season games left to go.
