Report: Buyer steps forward for Everest College campuses in Ontario

There’s reportedly a potential buyer for Everest College campuses in Ontario.

The Ontario Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities tells says it’s reviewing a purchase proposal.

All 14 Everest campuses in the province, including one in Kitchener, closed in February after the ministry pulled its licence.

That put almost 2,500 students out of class.

The potential buyer has not been named, but a ministry spokesperson says the superintendent of private career colleges
now has to determine if the buyer meets all of the requirements of the Private Career Colleges Act.
