Home sales in Waterloo Region spike in February

The head of the Kitchener-Waterloo Association of Realtors is confident the local market will continue to experience steady and stable growth.
Mark Wolle’s comments come as the association releases the latest home sales stats.
Sales were up in February as compared to January.
423 properties changed hands last month up from 219 the previous month.
However, on a year over year basis, sales slipped from February of 2014 when 436 homes were sold.
The average price for single detached homes was up 1.2 per cent from the previous year at just over $395,000.
