Kitchener Comic Con taking place today at City Hall

Comic book conventions are a highlight in many cities around the world, and as of today Kitchener has its very own.

Kitchener Comic Con is taking place Down-town at City Hall until 6p.m. and it’s packed with things to see and do to satisfy your comic book needs and wants.

Media Coordinator says along with Captain Canuck creator Richard Comply, there will be another big name in attendance, Bradie Whetham from R. L. Stine’s ‘Goosebumps’ series.

“It’s entering its 20th anniversary this year. Now the show has been off air for a little while, but it’s still available on Netflix, and different places like that. We’ve actually got two of the actors of the original ‘Goosebumps’ show coming as guests for our convention, so that’s pretty exciting to have that.”
