It’s back once again.
Environment Canada has issued another extreme cold warning for Waterloo Region and much of southern Ontario. The weather service says frigid temperatures are expected again tonight and into tomorrow with windchill values near minus 30.
The frigid Arctic air mass will mix with light to moderate winds keeping temperatures well below the freezing mark.
But, there is some good news! The weather service says by Saturday afternoon, the beginning of a slow trend toward somewhat milder conditions should start.
