Trial for two men charged in connection with Tim Bosma’s murder won’t start until 2016

The trial for the men accused of killing Hamilton’s Tim Bosma has been delayed until 2016.

The Hamilton Spectator says a new start date of January 11th was set on Monday during an unexplained closed-door proceeding.

The trial was originally scheduled to start on September 28, 2015.

Dellen Millard and Mark Smich are both charged with first-degree murder in connection with Bosma’s death.

His burned remains were found on a farm near Roseville in May of 2013.

Millard and Smich are also charged in Toronto with first-degree murder in the death of Laura Babcock, with whom Millard was romantically linked, and Millard is also charged with first-degree murder in the death of his father.
