Tickets selling fast for Big Music Fest

If you’re looking to attend Big Music Fest this year, you’ll have to act fast.

Pre-sale tickets had to be stopped Thursday night after selling so quickly and already general admission is a huge success.

Although some were displeased with the line-up for the second year of the event, President Mark Higgins tells 570 News ticket sales tell a different story.

“It’s really like two music fests in one weekend. You’ve got your classic rock with Rod Stewart and then you got really kickass stuff with Soundgarden. So that’s a really big difference from last year so I guess it’s resonating the way it’s supposed to…I’m very happy.

Higgins adds they are already ahead compared to last year and have sold tickets to people from all over – including California.

Sunday’s headliners are Rod Stewart and Blondie. On Saturday, Soundgarden, Jane’s Addiction, Monster Truck and Extreme will take to the stage.
