AUDIO: Winning streak snapped, but Rangers pick up a point in London

The Kitchener Rangers saw their winning streak end at three games in London on Tuesday night. London edged the Rangers 3-2 in overtime.

Knights winger Matt Rupert scored the winning goal on the power play, 1:37 into the extra frame. Rangers blueliner Max Iafrate was in the box serving a call for holding.

The Rangers trailed 2-0 until midway through the first period. Darby Llewellyn scored his 12th of the season to put Kitchener on the board.

In the second, Ryan MacInnis pulled the Rangers even with a short-handed marker, with the assist going to Gustaf Franzen.

Jake Paterson took the loss in goal for the Rangers. Kitchener also ended up with a 49 to 32 shot advantage.

The Rangers host Kingston on Friday. 570 News has the pre-game at 7pm.
