Storm end Kitchener’s point streak

The Rangers saw their point streak end at 16 games in Guelph on Sunday afternoon.

The Storm blanked Kitchener 3-0, Justin Nichols stopping all 32 shots he faced. It was also Guelph’s first win over the Rangers this season. Kitchener won the first two games of the season series at The Aud.

Ben Harpur scored what proved to be the game winner in the first period. He also added two assists. Tyler Bertuzzi scored a pair and Robby Fabbri chipped in with two assists.

Kitchener got its streak to 16 on Friday with a 2-1 home win over Windsor. Prior to Sunday, they had not lost in regulation since October 10th.
