Rangers fall to Sudbury in shootout, but extend point streak to 15 games

The Kitchener Rangers lost in a shootout to Sudbury 3-2 at home Sunday night, but they’ve now managed to pick up at least a point in 15 straight games.

The Rangers were trailing 2-0 heading into the final frame.

Brent Pedersen and Ryan MacInnis each scored for Kitchener to get the game to overtime, for both it was goal number seven on the season.

The shootout went seven rounds, with Brody Milne scoring the game winner for the Wolves.

On Saturday, Kitchener beat the Otters 5-2 in Erie and skated past the Whalers 5-3 at The Aud on Friday night.

The Rangers host Windsor this Friday. 570 News has the pre-game show at 7pm.
