Both lanes now open on Highway 8 East ramp to 401

It’s some good news for those of you heading from Waterloo Region to the 401.
It has seemed like forever, but construction infuriating many has finally ended.
Commuters on Highway 8 heading east towards the 401 are enjoying a much more open road.
Both lanes on the on-ramp to the EB 401 are now open.
The closer was part of the construction that began five months ago to widen the 401 to ten lanes through Cambridge.
