Two men face numerous charges after lengthy police investigation

Waterloo Regional Police have laid a slew of charges against two Kitchener men after a lengthy break and enter investigation.
Police say the men were arrested back on September 3rd, after they were caught on camera stealing a vehicle from Rockway Mennonite School.

The men, aged 26 and 27, are facing a number of charges following several break and enters at local schools and businesses.

The charges include:

– Break and Enter Commit x 23
– Break and Enter with Intent
– Theft of a Motor Vehicle x 3
– Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000
– VIN Tampering
– Possession of Government identification
– Theft under $5000
– Flight from Police
– Arson
– Possession of a prohibited weapon x 2
– Breach of probation
– Possession of Break and Enter Instruments
– Carry a concealed weapon

The estimated value of the stolen property is around $70,000 involving approximately thirty victims.

Both men are scheduled to appear in court via video tomorrow.
