BlackBerry’s Passport to be cheaper than iPhone 6 & Samsung Galaxy S4

BlackBerry is reportedly set to launch its new phone tomorrow.

There’s word the Waterloo-based tech firm plans to sell its new Passport smartphone for $599 U-S without a wireless carrier contract in the U-S — that’s about 50 to 250 dollars cheaper than various models of the iPhone 6 and Samsung’s current Galaxy S4.

570 News will be in Toronto for the launch, set for 9am Wednesday.
