Waterloo hosts largest Ultimate Frisbee tournament

It is dubbed the largest Ultimate Frisbee tournament in Canada and it is taking place in our own backyard.
More than 100 teams will be facing off at the 2014 Ultimate Championship at RIM Park in Waterloo, with the final being played Sunday at Seagram Stadium at the University of Waterloo.
Andrew Portwine, is the tournament director and tells 570 News the fast paced game has something for everyone.
“If you want to get out an enjoy the game it’s a good family atmosphere as well. It’s just a nice atmosphere in general.”
