West Perth woman charged in crash that sent 10 victims to hospital

Perth County OPP are charging a West Perth woman with numerous offences after a crash Sunday night that sent 10 people to hospital, two of which had to be air-lifted.

OPP say a southbound vehicle crossed over into the north bound lane on Perth Road 113 and collided head-on with a north bound van.

Six of the ten injured were children. One child in a car and an adult in a van were airlifted to hospital in London. Police say eight others were taken to a local hospital. Reports say at least 5 victims are released.

Police say 42-year-old Tammy-Lynn Dingman is charged with not providing a breath sample, impaired driving causing injury, and dangerous operation of a vehicle causing injury.

Dingman will be in a Stratford court on September 8.

Her licence has also been suspended for 90 days.
