Regional Police join Eric in studio. Waterloo Region’s new Police Chief is no stranger to the area, or to the role of Police Chief. Announced earlier today, Bryan Larkin will lead the local force. Larkin started his career here in 1991 before taking the job as Deputy Police Chief in Guelph in 2010. He was then named Chief in 2012. The soon to be 44 year old is on a five year contract – an exact start date is still being determined.
