Kitchener Ranger’s number one draft pick signs on the dotted line

The Kitchener Rangers have managed to get their most recent number one draft pick to sign on the dotted line.

The club announced this morning forward Adam Mascherin has signed an Ontario Hockey League standard player agreement.
Mascherin was the second overall pick in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection.

He was the 2013-14 Greater Toronto Hockey League Player of the Year after scoring 67 goals and adding 62 assists in 61 games with the Vaughan Kings Minor Midget team.

Rangers General Manager Murray Hiebert says, “we are confident that he is ready to play in our league” and “The Rangers are very excited to have Adam commit to our team, and we are looking forward to adding him to our roster this season.”
