Study says women in Waterloo Region are stressed

Twenty cities were looked at by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives of what would be the best and worst places to live in Canada for women.

Quebec was number one, Edmonton was ranked last and Kitchener-Waterloo fell to sixteenth place.

Kitchener-Waterloo also had the highest stress levels out of any other city and are far less likely to have access to full-time work, as only 45% hold a full-time job.

There is also one of the biggest wage gaps between men and women in Waterloo Region, with women making an average $14,000 less than men.
