Fatal crash shuts down west 401 on Easter Sunday

One person is dead and three others were hurt in a single vehicle crash along the 401 just west of Highway 6 North.
OPP say the vehicle was westbound on the 401 mid-afternoon yesterday when it left the roadway, entered a ditch and then re-entered the highway and crashed into the centre median.
Police say a 54-year-old Toronto woman, who was a passenger in the vehicle, died.
Police say the others suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The westbound lanes re-opened last night after being closed for several hours.
