12:00pm- Dr. Dan Riskin, Co-Hosts of Daily Planet on Discovery Channel, Re: It’s “Forces of Nature” Week on Daily Planet and co-hosts Ziya Tong and Dr. Dan Riskin look at Blacktip Shark Migration, Fire Tornadoes, Mr. Extreme House, and Tsunami Pod.

12:30pm- Dave Rektor, Sergeant with the Ontario Provincial Police, Re: The weather is starting to warm up and police services across the province are reminding everyone to “share the road”. There’s already been a number of motorcycle crashes already this year, luckily none fatal in Waterloo Region. As a motorcycle rider himself, Rektor knows many of the issues and the importance of taking a riding course. In riding a motorcycle, it’s not a matter of if you are going to have a crash, rather when…so you need to be prepared and drive defensively and responsibly. Toronto Police say that in the past four years, officers have seen the number of motorcycle fatalities rise from one in 2010 to seven last year. Police say the primary causes of these fatalities have been speed, driver inexperience and motorcycles too powerful for the rider to control.
