Regional police identify body found in Victoria Park

An area of Victoria Park, in the Schneider area of Kitchener, remains cordoned off for a Police investigation.
People called Waterloo Regional Police around 2:30 Thursday afternoon after discovering the body of an unidentified male.
Police have identified the male body as 50-year-old Mark James McCreadie of Kitchener.
The results of the autopsy are inconclusive and a second one is scheduled for next week.
The circumstances surrounding the death remain under investigation, and detectives remain on scene this hour.
The investigating has been deemed a ‘suspicious death’ and police remain on scene investigating.
The Iron Horse trail has been blocked off from the Dill Street parking lot to West Avenue.
