12:00pm- Hayley Watson, Editor-in-Chief at The Cord Community Edition Paper, Re: It starts with an idea. Any project comes from the kernel of something small. It could be from reading a book, listening to music, seeing a need in your community or just from out of the blue. 10 ideas to change Waterloo is a collection of ideas. Some of these ideas are big. Some are small. Some are just starting, though they could become something more. Some are already chugging along.
12:30pm- Stephen Woodworth, Conservative MP for Kitchener-Centre, Re: Woodworth has announced he’s seeking unanimous consent in the House of Commons for Motion 476 today. The motion calls on all Members of Parliament to affirm that every Canadian law must be interpreted in a manner which recognizes the equal worth and dignity of everyone who is in fact a human being. Under Parliamentary rules Woodworth cannot, without unanimous consent, bring this Motion to a vote so he will seek the unanimous consent of Members of Parliament.
