Immigroup defends worst cities list

Immigration law firm Immigroup is defending their Top 10 Worst Cities To Immigrate To In Canada list, which ranks Kitchener-Waterloo as the fourth worst city in the country for immigrants.
General Manager Cassandra Johnstone joined 570’s Gary Doyle Show this morning, and says this new article is different than last years.
Last year’s report was based on statistics, this year it was based on an online poll that was attached to the original article.
“We had a lot of comments on the original article, for example from Thunder Bay: you know Thunder Bay’s great, there are so many great things about it, provincial parks are close by. Also, oh Toronto – it’s terrible, you don’t want to live there, it’s awful, your mayor smokes crack. So it’s the snapshot of people’s opinions at that time, and a lot of times it was reactionary.”
Toronto was ranked the worst city in the country for newcomers, followed by London, and Thunder Bay.
