12:00pm- Markus Moos, Professor in the Faculty of Environment at the University of Waterloo, Re: Young adults want to live close to transit, high-density housing, and urban amenities, says research out of the University of Waterloo appearing in an upcoming issue of the Canadian Geographer. Professor Moos authored the paper entitled, “Generationed space: Societal restructuring and young adults’ changing residential location patterns”.
12:30pm- Lesley Ellen Harris, Author, Re: Harris the author of “Canadian Copyright Law” joins Glenn for a talk about copyright laws in an online world. She has some tips to anyone using or working with copyright material, people think if items are “free” online, they have unlimited freedom to use it as they wish, they may be breaking the law.
