Golfing great Nancy Lopez has book deal; memoir to be published in June

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Golfing great Nancy Lopez has a book deal.
Lopez has an agreement with HarperOne, a division of HarperCollins Publishers, for a memoir scheduled to be published in June. HarperOne announced the deal Tuesday and says the book is currently untitled.
The 56-year-old Lopez will write of her lifelong involvement with golf, from her first set of clubs at age 8 to her dozens of tournament victories and rise to international fame. HarperOne promises previously unknown details of her public and private life, including her 27-year marriage to baseball star Ray Knight. They divorced in 2009.
Lopez says in a statement that she was at a stage in her life where she ready to reflect on the good on “and, yes, difficult times.”
