You could see a lot of the colour blue today as it is World Autism Day.
It is the first time the day is being marked in Canada. All municipalities are being asked to raise the flag to raise awarness of the disorder and to encourage support for those with autism.
An event is planned for Waterloo Public Square, starting at 11am.
There will be live music, mascots, children’s entertainment, information on autism services in the region and a free community BBQ.
