A 45-year-old Kitchener man is facing charges after multiple break-ins to businesses in Kitchener’s Tannery District.

Regional police say thousands of dollars in electronics and equipment was stolen from Bingeman’s Banquet Hall and Desire2Learn between August 2012 and February 2013.

The suspect was caught on surveillance tapes, and yesterday, he was spotted by some Desire2Learn employees.

The man was arrested and is currently is custody.

He is facing charges of multiple counts of breaking and entering, possession of breaking and entering tools, disguise with intent and obstructing police.

The man is due in court today.
