A 12 year member of the Guelph Police Service has been charged with assault.

Guelph Police say Constable Neil Moulton has been charged after an off-duty incident on February 10th.

Waterloo Regional Police say 47 year old Neil Moulton of Cambridge was charged after an off-ice altercation with a game official at a Cambridge minor hockey game at the Preston arena.

Guelph Police say Moulton remains on-duty.

His next court appearance is set for March 28th in Kitchener.
