The Kitchener Rangers took to the ice last night, but there were no body checks or fisticuffs.
The Rangers took on the Kitchener Ice Pirates and Cambridge Ice Hounds in the 6th Annual Special Hockey Benefit Game at the Aud.
Proceeds were earmarked for the two teams, made up of kids and adults that have developmental or physical challenges that prevent them from taking part in traditional hockey programs.
Still with the Aud, you can check it out later today as the Rangers are offering free tours showing off their renovated digs.
The tours last 15 minutes and run from 4:30 to 6pm.
Among other things, you can have a look inside the team’s dressing room.
Some Ranger players will be on hand for the tour.
