A Burlington woman is dead after a crash in Cambridge between a Greyhound bus and a car.

Just after 6:30 pm Friday, the car was traveling north on Hespler Road when it crossed the center line. When it was returning to the lane, it collided with the bus.

The bus driver also tried to stop to avoid hitting the car but was unsuccessful.

Only the driver was on the out-of-service bus at the time. He was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.
